We are seeking a motivated and energetic veterinary nurse to complement our medical staff. Our ideal candidate will be a team player, has the ability to multi-task, possesses a well-rounded technical skill set (i.e. venipuncture, cystotomy, placing IV catheters, administering medications), and has a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients and clients. Responsibilities include assisting the doctors, ensuring quality care to our patients, monitoring and treatment of hospitalized and boarding patients, assisting with appointments, in-house diagnostics, radiology, monitoring patients during surgical and dental procedures and client education. Meet our Team
Our veterinary nurse Alyssa has been with Cats Only since 2013 and has been in the veterinary field since 2008. She has always had a passion for cats and enjoys working with them daily. She lives with 3 cats (Romero, Wes & Presley) and 1 dog (Spring).
Our receptionist Jessica has been with Cats Only since 2014. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College with a degree in biology. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking & playing board games. She lives with 3 cats (Pepper, Sampson & Delilah)
Our veterinary nurse Carly has been working in the veterinary field since 2012, primarily as a surgical technician. In her spare time she enjoys playing hockey & recording music as a multi-instrumentalist. Carly lives with her dog (Benita) and 4 cats (Cafrin, Bixby, Kiki & Hank)
Our veterinary assistant Lauren graduated from Star Career Academy in 2016 with a Certificate in Veterinary Assisting. She has worked in many different roles within the veterinary field. In her spare time, she enjoys writing and hanging out with friends. She lives with 1 cat, Melody, and a ball python named Piper.
Our comprehensive physical examinations serve a number of purposes. Together with a detailed history, our doctors will formulate a Medical Plan specifically for your cat based on their findings.READ MORE
Our hospital only uses non-adjuvanted vaccines. An adjuvant is added to a vaccine to stimulate the immune system to react to the vaccine and thus increase the effectiveness of the vaccine (i.e. to make antibodies to protect your cat in the future).READ MORE
