Veterinary Technician

Fast paced, professional veterinary hospital seeks experienced veterinary technician. Ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, be a team player, and be able to maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and caring demeanor for all clients and patients. Our hospital is computer based so computer experience is required. Knowledge of Avimark Veterinary Software is a plus.Must be proficient in:

• Venipuncture
• Digital Radiography
• Digital Dental Radiography
• Hospital Treatment
• Placing IV Catheters
• Administering medications (PO, SQ, IM, IV)
• Monitoring and Assisting during Surgical Procedures
• Monitoring Hospitalized Patients
• Assisting during examinations


Must have ability to:
• Care for medical and non-medical patients in our boarding facility
• Maintain medical records
• Perform general housekeeping responsibilities
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with clients in person and on the telephone.

Our technician Carley graduated from Arcadia University with a major in Biology. In her spare time she can be found at the barn riding. She lives with two cats Tess and Logan. She is currently attending Veterinary School at the University of Pennsylvania.



Our technician Alisa graduated from Temple University with a BS in Education. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, watching movies, reading, and black & white photography. She is a trivia champion. She lives with her three cats: Oscar, Feidhlim, and Robert, dog June, and her human family.



Our receptionist Jessica graduated from Montgomery County Community College with a degree in Biology. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, and playing board games. She lives with three cats: Pepper, Shadow, and Gemma.



Our veterinary technician Morgan graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a BS in Communication. She is currently attending Manor College part time in the veterinary technology  program. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, movies, and tennis. She lives with four cats: Cami, Coal, Cannon, and Cajun.




Our veterinary technician Alyssa has an appreciation for various forms of art, ranging from photography to body art.  She excels at drawing and knitting.  She also enjoys working out and is passionate about tuner cars.  She lives with four cats:  Sir Whitington, Zachary, Binx and Lumpy Space Princess.



Our comprehensive physical examinations serve a number of purposes. Together with a detailed history, our doctors will formulate a Medical Plan specifically for your cat based on their findings.


Our hospital only uses non-adjuvanted vaccines. An adjuvant is added to a vaccine to stimulate the immune system to react to the vaccine and thus increase the effectiveness of the vaccine (i.e. to make antibodies to protect your cat in the future).

Prevention Services

Preventative Healthcare is a major focus of Cats Only Veterinary Hospital. Our Preventative Healthcare approach is tailored to each individual cat with regards to their specific environment, lifestyle, nutrition, potential risks, and other considerations. Our Wellness Plans allow you to make low monthly payments over the course of a year.

Laser Surgery

Most of our surgical procedures utilize the benefits of laser surgery. All of our routine surgeries (neuter, spay, declaw) utilize this technology and the results are truly remarkable.

Class IV Laser Therapy

Cats Only Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer state-of-the-art Class IV Laser Therapy for a drug-free, surgery-free, pain-free treatment for your cat. Laser Therapy has been used for over 40 years in human medicine and has recently entered into the veterinary field.

Dental Healthcare & Surgery

Approximately 70% of cats over the age of 2 to 3 have some degree of periodontal disease (tartar, plaque, gingivitis, tooth resorption). Each comprehensive physical examination will include an evaluation of your cat’s mouth.

Hospitalization & Imaging

In some instances, we may recommend hospitalization for your cat. Our hospital is equipped with a number of monitoring equipment and services. The following is a short list of services and equipment that may be required:


Our feline friends cannot (or do not) tell us when they are unwell. We often use blood and urine tests along with a detailed history and comprehensive physical examination to help us determine if there is a problem internally.
